Smirking Ass's Hogwash News
Satire about scandalous revelations that the Bush White House has spent millions of taxpayer dollars creating and disseminating fake news programs; actually fraudulent, self-preening propaganda posing as real news
(Sung to the tune of "Workin' At The Car Wash Blues" by Jim Croce)

(instrumental intro)

Well, it had just come out: news "accounts" were ridden
With Bush fraudulence they didn't report.
Lies behind Chief Executive's positions;
Truth don't matter, because Bush squawked.
He wouldn't listen to the facts; deemed spin ingenious.
Dim Son said, "We need all that we can use."
White House now is readily confessin' to public mind messin' -
Smirking Ass's hogwash "news."

Bush is usually hidden in his airtight Oval Office, where he doesn't care.
White House will trash anyone who carries
Any dirt on Dubya (Karl Rove is there).
Bush would get stuck finding his way out of a bag,
When talkin' in support of his views.
White House now is readily confessin' to public mind messin' -
Smirking Ass's hogwash "news."

You know Dim Son has no ability,
He is a joke who's been proclaimed The Czar.
His White House never tells straight; they either lie or inflate.
'Cause propaganda suits Bush, who's bizarre.

Well, all Bush can do is just shake his head;
He will not believe what is true.
While smirkin', he'll defend his Iraq oil war;
His butt is guarded by Rove and Hughes.
Bush Baby's fake news is seedy,
All to protect the greedy, and his high-brow society's views.
White House now is readily confessin' to public mind messin' -
Smirking Ass's hogwash "news."

(instrumental break)

Bush Baby's fake news is seedy,
All to protect the greedy, and his high-brow society's views.
White House now is readily confessin' to public mind messin' -
Smirking Ass's hogwash "news."

White House now is readily confessin' to public mind messin'-
Smirking Ass's hogwash "news."
